When we opened

  • The Heritage Center opened in 2010, and was created to be a training center and temporary office space for tribal programs.
    • The č̕ixʷícən village artifacts were moved from The Burke Museum in Seattle and placed on display in (2013). In 2016 we added the new Elwha River Dam exhibit.
    • We have three rooms we rent to the public. The Conference Room (Eagle’s Nest) holds up to 49 and is an ideal setting for business meetings, trainings, and family gatherings. The Art Room (Raven’s Edge) seats 24 and is well suited to small gatherings such as clubs, conference calls, or luncheons. Our central room (the Great Hall) is also available to rent and would be a spectacular host to weddings, fundraisers, and lectures.
      • We currently house the tribe’s TANF and vocational rehab programs, and also serve as an affordable event rental space for the community.
