Free Application for Federal Student Aid is available at www.fafsa.ed.gov - this is FREE application. There are sites that get you to the end and then say you have to pay – if that happens, it’s not the right site. When you apply, be sure to have your tax forms for 2014 with you. You can apply before you (or your parents file if you are under 24) complete your tax forms, but you will need to go back into the site ASAP to complete, as I have it on good authority that the sooner you apply the more funding you will be eligible to receive.
