In approving 2006 - 2008 funding year application the Council decided that SHUT OFF NOTICES would no longer constitute a crisis. There has been no change in this policy. PLEASE keep paying your heating bills and if you believe you qualify, come in and apply for LIHEAP. Crisis funds will be used for emergency heating system repairs (broken heaters, dysfunctional wood stoves, broken windows, etc. within a reasonable cost).
